This photograph was taken on the way to Milford Sound in New Zealand.

For a place that gets over 7 meters of rain a year you had to suspect that we probally would get a rainy day. This photograph was taken on the bus on the way into Milford.

This was taken at Alexander Headlands while staying up the coast with Emmas Family.

It turned out really well i think.

What a wonderful life it must be to just be able to sail into the sunset each day.

This would have been one of those wonderful times when it was just peaceful on the water.

It was just created a wonderful set of colours from the Sunset.

Sometimes you are able to capture some amazing beauty with a fast exposure.

This photo was taken on the way home from Tangalooma.

The problem with these types of days is that you never want to go home.

This is another photo take of the Tangalooma Wrecks.

It was from the water level looking up to one of the old boats. It has fantastic Colours.

This is one of my first underwater shots.

I didnt notice it at first because it all happens so quickly under water, but it looks like the fish in the lower right of the picture is smiling at me.

Another night shot from Fiji.

This was taken on the same night as the other ones for the pool area.

Each time i look at these images. I am just amazed at what can be done with light. But further to that just how amazing it all is. How amazing is it that we see darkness but using a camera I can extract the most wonderful colours from the darkness.

For those who think its all just an accident. Well I guess all you are seeing is the darkness.

From what I could see and assume about Fiji is that many of the locals still caught and ate their own food. When ever we would go for a drive along the coastline I couldnt help by notice that there were always people standing in the water.

After a few trips I figured that the were fishing.

From the private islands I found this man fishing not to far away from where we were (about 200 meters or so)

It was such a peaceful scene. Yet i spose to them such an important part of life. For if they didnt catch anything then they went hungry.

I wonder what it is like to live anothers life. What are they thinking while they stand in the water all day long. Do they envy us as tourists to their land? do they pity us?

Here i was, luckly enough to be able to see a little of another culture from my western resort. Like a small window out of my room to another world.

We went to do a Hot Springs with Jungle Walk tour. It was so much fun.

We left about an hour late. (Wasn’t a problem as we didnt have anywhere else to be)

Then we got into a ute which took us along this rough as guts path until we were told to get out. It was then about another 40 minute walk through the jungle till we reached the place where the photo was taken.

It was really nice. The water was just a nice temp.

I like the reflection of the jungle on this photo.
